People visit Oxford for many reasons. Some come to work, like visiting professors, or those attending courses at The Said Business School, or Oxford Business College.
But many come on holiday, to visit a city synonymous with learning and history – 26 former British Prime ministers went to Oxford amongst the many other old Oxonians, too numerous to mention here.
So Oxford is a popular destination for those that crave history, tradition, spires and little bit of quaintness that shouts out from every corner.
But staying in any English city can be expensive, especially if you are going to stay in a holiday apartment in Oxford But there are alternatives and of course they will be a less expensive option.
Bed and breakfast, hotels are fine but when you want your own privacy, staying in the typical B&B does not allow this. This is why the alternative, a self catering apartment is a good choice.
